Discover the transformative power of Open Floor mindful movement. A place for embodied self-discovery and connection.
Move & Embody
Éadaoin is a passionate & experienced conscious dance facilitator. She guides you through this enlivening body-led movement practice. Trained in Open Floor and Dance the Medicine, with influences from Amerta, Move into Life and 5Rhythms, Éadaoin creates a space where you can explore your movement patterns and discover new ways of responding to and arriving into the present moment. Through live DJ.'d music and clear facilitation, you'll embark on a journey to greater flexibility, resilience, and choice for living on and off the dance-floor.

Who is conscious dance for?
This practice is ideal for those seeking to deepen their connection to life in an embodied and soulful way. If you are motivated by self-exploration, community, connection to place and inquiry this practice is for you. Expect to move from habit to choice, from preference to presence, from being fixed to fluid. This is an invitation to embrace and include more and more of who you are through guided, free form movement and enquiry.

Benefits of moving freely
Participating in conscious dance offers a wealth of benefits. Expect improved movement vocabulary and attention through your body, enhanced self-awareness, and a boost in your capacity to keep meeting yourself in movement, however you are. Deepen your connection to yourself, to your environment, and to others. This is a holistic practice and there's room here for every*BODY no matter your age, stage or fitness level. If you have a body, you are a dancer!

WILD is a season of Outdoor Conscious Dance Events in the Northwest. I collaborate with Kate Brown and Aisling Dolan for these events and there is so much joy in the teamwork and how WILD unfolds.
So far this season we have held outdoors dances at the stunning Bartyes Mill Site in Gleniff, Dooney Rock Forest, a Morning of Movement near the Strandhill Coast, by Lough key in Boyle, at a North Sligo Headland and more recently a pied piper style dance along the coast.
Team WILD continue to dream in with the land as to where the next outdoor dance will be and when. As soon as we know we will announce it here and on our WILD Website
The next Open Floor event will be on Saturday September 19th and is a ritual in movement for the Autumn Equinox.

Kindred Studios, Strandhill
